Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center helps entrepreneurs transform their dreams into “Open for Business’ signs.” With over 10,000 clients in 30 years, Renaissance is the Bay Area leader in small business training and services. Even better, the main “RenCenter” office is located right here in San Francisco at 275 5th Street. If you have ever wanted to start a business, or take your business to the next level, the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is a good place to go. Many of their services are free, and even the paid services are generally provided on a sliding scale. 

This Summer they are offering some excellent courses including Lean Startup and Digital Presence and Marketing

Lean Startup – Explore Your Idea

This 6-session course is intended for individuals who would like to explore a business idea in order to determine its feasibility.

Using Lean Startup methodology, you will learn to:
– Quickly test your business idea to see if it is viable
– Understand your target market and how to turn them into loyal, paying customers
– Use the Business Model Canvas to get the most important elements of your business down on paper

When: Thursday August 10, 6pm to 9pm.

Cost: $350 (Financial Assistance Available, depending on income level).

Digital Presence and Marketing Workshop Series

Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is also offering a series of free workshops in partnership with GoDaddy’s GoCommunities to help entrepreneurs build digital marketing skills to help customers find their business and increase their revenue. Topics include Building A Website, Search Engine Visibility (SEO), Social Media, Email Marketing and Ecommerce. Take the entire series or just one of the workshops.
